Ikea’s Midsummer Sale

Come one, come all! Ikea is hosting their Midsummer Sale now through 7/9/24 and they’ve got some great deals!

I am a big fan of Ikea for many reasons. I love how affordable their products are, as well as their aesthetics and functionality. Their products can be used in many different spaces, making them highly versatile. Ikea is also committed to giving back to the environment. They have programs like their buy-back program, where you can resell your old Ikea furniture to other customers.

Before you check out this sale, make sure you're shopping for items you need or want to make your home organized and functional, not just because it's a good deal. After all, the best deal is buying nothing at all. However, if there's a space in your home you've been wanting to refresh or if you need a piece of furniture to complete a room, this is a great time to finish those unfinished projects.

Tip:
Sit in the room or space you want to upgrade and think about what you need to complete it. Do this for each space, make a list of the items needed, and then shop the sale for those items. This will help you avoid buying unnecessary pieces and adding clutter to your home. We want your space to be functional and clutter-free!

Okay, with the disclaimers out of the way, here are some of my favorite Ikea storage pieces that are on sale! (P.S. - there are too many to list all of them...)

KIDS BEDROOM | Mismatching hangers no more! Grab a few packs of Hanga to tidy up your kid’s closet. Create a reading nook that doubles as storage with the Smastad bench and the Mojlighet headset stand. Then cozify it with a Hasthage wall lamp and fuzzy pillow. Your child will crush their Summer Reading Challenge! (If not a Salem local, check your local library to see their Summer Reading Challenges)

TOY STORAGE | If you have lego fans in your home Trofast with the smaller bins are perfect for them! Add some Lego baseplates to the top of the Trofast and you’ve got yourself a Lego creation station!

GUEST ROOM | Make your guests feel extra at home with the Turbo clothing rack, and some new Ullvide sheets.

STORAGE | So many shelf and cabinet units are on sale too. Check out the Ivar (we use it in our kitchen, check out photo below!) collection if you like the more natural look. I LOVE that it’s adjustable and that you can customize it! Like wood, but not that much wood? Check out the Fjallbo collection.
